1,800 firms sue to recover $130 bn after US SC strikes down Trump's tariffs: Report

At least 1,800 companies have filed lawsuits seeking refunds after the US Supreme Court struck down President Donald Trump's tariffs, which had netted around $130 billion, The Wall Street Journal reported. "[The tariff cases] all happening at the exact same time," a federal litigator said. As per a court filing, over 3 lakh importers were subject to tariffs through December.
