1.89 crore Ujjwala beneficiaries in UP to get free LPG cylinders on Diwali

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has announced that eligible families under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana will receive one free LPG cylinder each on Diwali and Holi. The announcement was made at a programme in Lucknow to distribute refill subsidies to over 1.89 crore beneficiaries. The state government has allocated ₹1,500 crore for the subsidy.
