1 male, 4 female Corbett tigers get new home in Rajaji Reserve

Authorities are preparing to relocate one male and four female tigers from Corbett Tiger Reserve to Rajaji Tiger Reserve under the second phase of Uttarakhand's translocation programme. In 2020, five tigers, including two males and three females, were moved to Rajaji. The programme aims to strengthen Rajaji's tiger population, improve species distribution and reduce human-wildlife conflict.
