1 terrorist killed in gunfire in J&K's Budgam, AK rifle recovered

One terrorist was killed in Jammu and Kashmir's Budgam after the Indian Army, police and CRPF launched a joint search operation based on intelligence input. "Vigilant troops observed suspicious activity and upon being challenged, terrorists opened fire, prompting a fierce exchange of gunfire," the Indian Army's Chinar Corps said. "One AK rifle and other war-like stores were recovered," it added.
