10,000 hotels in Chennai fear shutdown due to LPG shortage amid Middle East war

Over 10,000 hotels, restaurants, and eateries in Chennai are fearing shutdown due to fuel supply shortages amid Middle East war, according to Chennai Hotels Association's President, M Ravi. The body wrote to PM Narendra Modi, requesting that LPG supply for the food industry be treated as an essential service. The government has prioritised hospitals and educational institutions for commercial LPG.
