10,000 people evacuated in France amid wildfire near Spain's border

A wildfire burning in southwestern France forced 10,000 people to be evacuated from their homes near Spain's border with concerns of the fire spreading due to strong winds on Monday. The area's state official, Pierre Regnault de la Mothe, said the fire had burned around 4,500 hectares. The fire burned around 2,200 hectares on Spain's side of the border.
