10,415 kg of adulterated spices, khoya seized in Lucknow ahead of Holi

Ahead of Holi, Food Safety Department officials seized large quantities of adulterated and expired food items in Lucknow. They raided a warehouse in Faizullaganj and recovered 112 kg of expired sweets. They also destroyed expired stocks of sonpapdi and rajbhog. Around 10,415 kg of suspected adulterated spices and khoya, worth about ₹55.91 lakh, were also seized during the citywide campaign.
