10 Bengaluru-bound flights diverted to Chennai due to rains

At least 10 Bengaluru-bound flights have been diverted to Chennai due to heavy rains, airport officials confirmed on Saturday. Air India and IndiGo issued advisories urging people to check their flight status before heading to the airport. Several areas in Bengaluru witnessed strong winds and heavy rainfall. Hailstorms were reported in Hoskote, located in Bangalore Rural district.
