10 lakh fake NCERT books worth over ₹9 cr seized in Uttarakhand

Around 10 lakh fake NCERT books worth over ₹9 crore have been seized in Uttarakhand's Rudrapur. A police official stated that the NCERT was notified of the matter, after which NCERT officials examined the books and found that instead of the authentic NCERT watermark, the books had a fake inscription, 'ACERT'. A case has been registered under various provisions.
