10 more stepwells in Hyderabad to be taken up for restoration

The Telangana government has planned to take up restoration of 10 more stepwells in Hyderabad, after successfully restoring 17th-century stepwell at Bansilalpet. Special Chief Secretary Urban Development Arvind Kumar on Tuesday announced that they plan to take up the project in the next four months. The stepwell at Bansilalpet was unearthed after removing over 2,000 tonnes of debris.
