10 patients killed as fire breaks out in ICU at night in Odisha govt hospital

At least 10 patients were killed and 11 staff members suffered severe burn injuries after a fire broke out at the trauma care ICU of government-run SCB Medical College and Hospital in Odisha's Cuttack. The fire reportedly broke out between 2:30 and 3 am. Odisha CM Mohan Charan Majhi announced a ₹25 lakh ex-gratia for the family of the deceased.
