10 police personnel injured in stone-pelting during anti-encroachment drive in Mumbai
At least 10 police personnel were injured after residents of Gareeb Nagar slum area in Mumbai's Bandra hurled stones at them as authorities razed an alleged illegal mosque during anti-encroachment drive on Wednesday. Around 15 persons were detained for stone-pelting. Violence broke out on second day of drive by Western Railway following court orders to clear encroachments from railway land.
