10-year-old girl in ICU with brain injury after being slapped by teacher

A 10-year-old class 5 girl suffered severe brain injury and is in ICU after her tuition teacher slapped her in Nallasopara near Mumbai. The teacher reportedly slapped her twice, hitting her ear which got injured due to her earring, leading to a tetanus infection. As her condition worsened, the girl's face swelled and she was unable to open her mouth.
