100% land acquired for Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train route

The Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train project has achieved 62.16% physical progress, according to a September 2026 RTI response. All 1,389.49 hectares required for the 508-km corridor have been acquired. More than 366 km of viaduct girders have been erected, while tunnel, track, station and depot construction continues. The project's final completion timeline has not yet been determined.
