100 Canadian groups back RSS chief's visit, urge PM to reject calls for blocking it

Over 100 Canadian organisations have written to PM Mark Carney in support of RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat's proposed visit to Canada. They urged government to ensure that any decision on his entry is based on evidence rather than political pressure. Notably, some NDP MPs had called for Bhagwat to be prevented from entering Canada and to be declared inadmissible.
