100 farmers get Waqf Board notices claiming their land in Maharashtra

As many as 103 farmers in Latur, Maharashtra, got notices from the Waqf Board, seeking to take control of the land that they have been cultivating for generations. The total land is 300 acres. "These lands have been passed down to us through generations...These are not Waqf property," one farmer said, adding that the state government should give them justice.
