100 murder cases shifted from UP judge after he sentences 22 people to death in 4 months

Around 100 murder cases pending before Additional District and Sessions Judge Ravi Kumar Diwakar have been transferred to another judge through an administrative order in Uttar Pradesh's Muzaffarnagar, officials said. This comes after he delivered 22 death sentences in 10 cases in the last four months. There were apprehensions among the lawyers and litigants, District Bar Association said.
