100 sheep replace machines at Volkswagen plant in Poland
Volkswagen has replaced lawnmowers with 100 sheep at its photovoltaic farm in Poland's Poznań, among the largest of its kind in Europe. The livestock now graze under over 31,000 solar panels, which power the automaker's manufacturing plant. The move cuts power usage and allows researchers to study how renewable energy and farming can coexist on the same land, Electrek reported.
