100 stranded at waterfall due to heavy rain rescued in Maha

Over 100 people stranded at Chinchoti waterfall in Maharashtra's Vasai due to heavy rainfall were rescued on Saturday. While local police and National Disaster Response Force joined the rescue operations, an Indian Air Force helicopter was deployed to rescue five people from a hilly region near the waterfall. A 35-year-old man was killed after being swept away in the waterfall.
