101 TMC councillors resign in West Bengal: Reports

Cracks have widened within Trinamool Congress (TMC) after 101 councillors resigned across multiple municipalities in West Bengal, reports stated. Councillors said they were stepping down on “moral responsibility” following TMC's poor performance in the recently concluded Assembly elections. Notably, 30 councillors resigned from Bhatpara Municipality, while 18 resigned from Garulia Municipality.
