102 people killed in floods and landslides in Nepal

At least 102 people died due to rain-triggered floodings and landslides in Nepal, police said, adding that 64 people were missing and 45 people were injured. According to experts, a low-pressure system in Bay of Bengal and more northerly than usual position of the monsoon trough led to extreme rainfall on Saturday. Kathmandu's main river Bagmati was flowing above danger-level.
