108 horses take part in Shaurya Yatra for Somnath celebration

As many as 108 police horses participated in 'Shaurya Yatra', a symbolic procession organised as part of the Somnath Swabhiman Parv on Sunday. PM Narendra Modi also participated in the yatra. Those riding the horses were seen carrying a flag. The procession of horses pays tribute to warriors who defended the Somnath Temple, which has been plundered several times.
