10-foot-long great white shark attacks and kills 60-year-old surfer in Australia

A 60-year-old man died after being bitten by a 10-foot-long great white shark while surfing near Kingscliff in Australia's northern New South Wales. Police said that several other surfers came to his aid and were able to fight the shark before helping him to the shore. The victim was treated for serious injuries to left leg but died on beach.
