11 bills were passed in Lok Sabha in 15 mins in Monsoon Session

Eleven out of 12 bills in Lok Sabha were passed in under 15 minutes in the recently concluded Monsoon Session despite being allotted up to five hours for debate. The Registration of Births and Deaths (Amendment) Bill took two minutes before being cleared. Only Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Amendment Bill exceeded its 10-hour allotment by nearly an hour.
