In the Union Budget 2026 address on Sunday, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman mentioned "Artificial Intelligence (AI)" 11 times. It marks the highest frequency the term has appeared in any Union Budget speech in history. Former Finance Minister Arun Jaitely had first mentioned the term Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the Union Budget speech in 2018.
