11-year-old Canadian boy dies of rabies after bat flies onto his face during sleep

An 11-year-old boy in Canada died of rabies after waking to find a bat covering his nose and mouth while he slept, despite having no visible bite or scratch marks, a report published in Canadian Medical Association Journal stated. Nineteen days after the incident, he developed symptoms like vomiting, facial numbness, and tingling sensation. Despite treatment, doctors couldn't save him.
