An 11-year-old girl has been awarded $300,000 (over ₹2.5 crore) in a settlement after a county sheriff's office seized and slaughtered her pet goat named Cedar in US' California. The girl had been raising Cedar as a junior livestock project for a fair, where the goat would be auctioned, as per court documents. The girl hadn't wanted to sell Cedar.
