11-year-old spends over 100 hours reading to pets at US shelter

An 11-year-old boy in Florida, US, was recognised for spending over 100 hours reading to pets at a local animal shelter. Nehemiah Turner logged the volunteer hours at the Jacksonville Humane Society over more than two years with his grandmother. He said he most enjoys reading to dogs and hopes it helps calm them.
