12-ft king cobra found in Odisha temple, rescued after 1-hr op

Evening prayers at Ratnei Temple in Odisha's Ganjam district came to a halt on Wednesday after a 12-foot king cobra was found inside, reports stated. The priest spotted the snake and alerted the Chikiti Forest Department. A local Snake Helpline team rescued the cobra after a tense one-hour operation before releasing it into the wild, reports added.
