12-year-old boy stripped, beaten in Panipat over Facebook comment

A 12-year-old boy was allegedly stripped and beaten in a colony under Panipat’s Quilla police station limits on September 5. The incident was allegedly triggered by a Facebook comment, police said. A video showing the child being assaulted went viral on social media. Police registered a case and arrested two accused within four hours of the video’s circulation.
