12-yr-old cheerleader dies after parents use smoothies, vitamins to treat her in US

A 12-year-old girl, who was a cheerleader at Jourdanton Jr. High School, died after her mother and stepfather used smoothies and vitamins to treat her life-threatening injuries in US' Texas this week. Reportedly, she was kept at home for four days even when she could only "flutter her eyes". Police said they sought help after she went into respiratory distress.
