1,200 cattle die of fast-spreading skin disease in Rajasthan
Nearly 1,200 cattle have died of a contagious lumpy skin disease in Rajasthan. According to the Animal Husbandry Department, the fast-spreading infection has affected about 25,000 cattle in three months. It said the disease originated in Africa and came to India via Pakistan in April. An official said that there is no treatment or vaccine for the disease.
