12,000 workers spent total 2.2 cr hrs building Burj Khalifa

Nearly 12,000 workers spent a combined 2.2 crore hours over a period of six years on building the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world. Notably, the tip of the spire of the Burj Khalifa can be seen from up to 95 km away. The building opened in Dubai on January 4, 2010.
