124 former IAS, IFS officers defend Election Commission, SIR process in open letter

A total of 124 former IAS and IFS officers have issued an open letter to citizens strongly defending the Election Commission and its Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process. The former bureaucrats said India’s electoral system has multiple layers of checks and safeguards, including VVPAT verification, to ensure the integrity of elections. This comes amid protests against CEC Gyanesh Kumar.
