125-ft-tall statue of BR Ambedkar to be installed at Hyderabad's NTR Gardens

A 125-foot-tall statue of Dr BR Ambedkar will soon be installed at NTR Gardens near Hussain Sagar lake in Hyderabad, state Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao has confirmed. Rao made the announcement after inaugurating the Dignity Housing Colony in Khairatabad's Indira Nagar. He also announced that a function hall will also be constructed in the area.
