Syria's 12-year-old table tennis player Hend Zaza, youngest athlete to participate in Tokyo Olympics, crashed out in the first round. Zaza lost to Austria's China-born 39-year-old Liu Jia in straight games (4-11, 9-11, 3-11, 5-11). "Reaching Tokyo Olympics was already an achievement.
