13 killed in tempo-truck collision in Maha, CM announces ex-gratia

At least 13 people were killed and 20 others injured in an accident on the Mumbai–Ahmedabad Highway in Maharashtra's Palghar, officials said. A tempo carrying over 50 passengers for an engagement ceremony collided with a container truck around 4 pm, they added. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis announced ₹5 lakh ex-gratia for the next of kin of the deceased.
