1.3 ton marijuana disguised as watermelons seized in US

US border police have seized 1360 kilograms of marijuana worth around $600,000 (₹4 crore) hidden in 390 packets disguised as watermelons inside in a commercial shipment of fruit in Texas. The officials seized the shipment when the police dog reacted positively to the presence of narcotics. Interestingly, use of marijuana for recreational purposes is legal in about eight US' states.
