13-year-old raped by exorcist on pretext of curing illness in UP

A 13-year-old girl was allegedly raped by exorcist Parshuram Yadav in Uttar Pradesh's Banda after her mother took her for treatment, police said. Yadav allegedly took the girl to an isolated spot and raped her before fleeing when she raised an alarm. Police booked him under rape and POCSO provisions, while two teams are conducting raids.
