13-year-old UP girl's scalp ripped off after hair gets stuck in fan, undergoes surgery

Doctors at Amrita Hospital, Faridabad, have successfully conducted scalp replantation surgery on a 13-year-old Aligarh girl, who had an accident when her long hair got caught in the fan of a generator at local fair. The surgery, unique in its kind of advanced reconstructive microsurgery, took eight hours to complete. The patient's reappearance has been restored to near normal level.
