'130-km crack in Antarctica ice shelf worsening'

A 130-km long, 350-metre​ wide crack in Antarctica's fourth largest ice shelf was reportedly found to get worse significantly. The crack, about the size of Scotland, grew 30 km in the last five years. Predictions suggest if the ice shelf shatters, over 6,000 square kilometres of ice would be lost, raising the global sea level by up to 10 centimetres.
