136 cremated in 14 hours at Nigam Bodh Ghat amid Delhi heatwave

The ongoing heatwave has had fatal effects on the national capital, during which, 178 deaths of homeless has been recorded between June 11 and June 19, 2024, according to a report by the Centre for Holistic Development (CHD). Additionally, a total of 70 heatstroke-related deaths have been reported in the last 48 hours.
