13-year-old biker Shreyas Hareesh dies in crash during racing championship

Biker Shreyas Hareesh, aged 13, died on Saturday after he received a grievous head injury in a crash in the Indian National Motorcycle Racing Championship 2023 at the Madras International Circuit in Chennai. The event promoters cancelled the remaining races scheduled for Saturday and Sunday. He had won several races at the national level.
