A 14-year-old Colombian, Juan Sebastian Avila Perez, has created Wings of Inclusion, a device that lets deaf people feel birdsong through vibrations. The wearable tool uses an external receiver to capture birdsong and translates its unique frequencies into different physical vibrations. These vibrations allow deaf people to experience birdsong through tactile feedback on their arms.
