140 inmates of Dasna Jail in Ghaziabad diagnosed with HIV: Official

As many as 140 inmates of Dasna District Jail in Ghaziabad have been diagnosed with HIV, said District Jail Superintendent Alok Kumar Singh on Friday. As per the rules, all prisoners are tested for HIV before they are lodged in jail. "An average of 120 to 150 HIV-positive inmates are living in the jail since 2016," Singh said.
