14-year-old US boy claims he made a working nuclear fusion device

Jackson Oswalt, a 14-year-old American, has claimed to have built a $10,000 equipment while aged 12 that uses 50,000 volts to fuse Deuterium nuclei and release energy. If verified by scientists, Jackson will become the world's youngest known person to create a successful nuclear fusion reaction. Scientists are yet to figure out how to create a large-scale nuclear fusion reactor.
