14-yr-old model dies from exhaustion post 13-hr fashion show

A 14-year-old Russian model named Vlada Dzyuba passed away due to meningitis compounded by severe exhaustion, after a 13-hour fashion show in Shanghai, China. "She was calling me, saying 'Mama, I am so tired. I want to sleep," said Vlada's mother. She was reportedly recruited by an agency on a "slave labour" contract without medical insurance.
