15 Bangladeshis living illegally in Bengaluru detained in Op Mukta

Bengaluru police on Saturday detained 1,909 suspected illegal immigrants during a large-scale operation and identified 15 among them as Bangladeshi nationals. The 15 allegedly possessed fake Aadhaar cards that showed their places of origin to be West Bengal and Assam, police said. The operation involved 23 police teams and 295 personnel covering Electronic City, Begur, Hebbagodi and other areas.
