15 wagons of goods train carrying coal derails in UP; restoration work underway

Fifteen wagons of a goods train carrying coal, which was on its way to Haryana's Kalanaur, derailed at the new Ekdil railway station of the Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC) near Uttar Pradesh's Etawah on Saturday. The freight train track was blocked following the incident, while the passenger train route was not affected. Work for restoration has reportedly started.
