RR's 15-year-old opener Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has become the fastest batter to score 1,000 runs in terms of balls faced in IPL history, achieving the feat during IPL 2026 Qualifier 2 against GT on Friday. Sooryavanshi has taken 440 balls to reach the 1,000-run mark. He overtook Andre Russell, who took 545 deliveries.
